Devin Cooper - Going Down

going down

collaboration

After the release of 2 country singles, 22 year old Devin Cooper Cooper wanted to share a side of him not many people have ever seen. A side that shows where his roots are deeply planted, and where he still draws inspiration from; the blues.

Cooper has teamed up with Calgary, AB based blues quartet, The Flat Whites, on this collaboration of the classic Freddie King song "Going Down". The Flat Whites consist of Russell Broom on Guitar (Jann Arden, Ian Tyson), Chris Byrne on Bass (The Road Hammers), Brendan Waters on Organ (Brett Kissel), and Spencer Cheyne on Drums (Juno Award Winning Producer).

This track was produced and arranged by Cooper himself, and was recorded entirely LIVE OFF THE FLOOR at OCL Studios.

What does LIVE OFF THE FLOOR mean? Well...

- 1 Take.

- No Edits.

- No Overdubs.
